Cheshire mother with Stage 4 inoperable lung cancer says she is determined to beat this illness, and is actively seeking alternative treatments abroad.

Julie Godley states, “I came to the conclusion that chemo isn’t working for me and it’s making me feel quite rubbish so I stopped that and in all of 2021, I focused on alternative treatments like hyperbaric oxygen therapy, intravenous Vitamin C, hyperthermia (where the body is exposed to temperatures between 40C and 45C) and lots of other supplements and diets. Having a good quality of life, it is really important. You want to keep yourself healthy for as long as you possibly can to be able to enjoy life and doing the alternative treatments have helped that.”

Even though Julie doesn’t necessarily know what’s next in her cancer battle, she continues to have a lot of hope in the alternative treatments and the way they’ve helped her gain back her quality of life.

She added, “I can’t give up and other people don’t want me to give up.”
